Película de "El Color de la Magia"
Tras el éxito de la miniserie Hogfather (Papá Puerco), emitida las pasadas navidades en el canal británico Sky One, la productora Mob Films proyecta sacar adelante una segunda película o miniserie basada en el Mundodisco. Las novelas elegidas en esta ocasión son El color de la magia y La luz fantástica, que se fundirán en una sola producción audiovisual.
El rodaje está previsto para otoño de este año y la película se estrenará en algún momento de 2008. El único detalle que empaña este notición es que, según parece, sir David Jason (Albert en Hogfather, ver foto) es el actor elegido para interpretar a... ¡Rincewind! Sin poner en duda sus capacidades actorales, tal vez sus 67 años le hagan algo difícil suspender la incredulidad dando vida al joven Rincewind de las primeras novelas.

Pues la verdad, me alegro pero... David Jason?? Buen actor, pero no me cuadra para Rincewind, hubiera preferido a Eric Idle, Johnny Depp... claro, que habrá que verle ataviado de nuestro Echicero favorito...
Pos si, es bueno ke haya interes en el mundodisco, aunque la verdad, hubiese preferio pelis de la serie de la guardia, aunque bueno, tampoco despreciare esta :P

A ver, todos los actores que están saliendo aqui son estadounidenses, y la pelicula va a ser britanica, no lo olviden. Una cosa es fantasear y otra, barajar posibilidades reales.
Hugh Lauire es británico, y ya demostró sus dotes de comediante en algunos capítulos de las temporadas 2,3 y 4 de la serie "The Black Adder" junto a Rowan Atkinson.
